Brief

The client wanted the site built in Next.js, with the repo as the final deliverable, and they needed it fast: a first iteration within a day. The style was a structural grid with visible borders and crosshair markers at the intersections.

Key decisions

One-day first iteration

I designed the whole site in a day, in the client’s grid-with-borders style, so they had something real to react to right away.

Adding 3D

The design worked, but I proposed a 3D model for the hero to give the site a focal point. I made three options in Spline and presented them, and the client loved the one that’s now live.

Outcome

Design and build were both done within a week. The client picked the 3D direction right away. The site is live at zudo.work.
